How much does Pind Daan in Gaya cost?

Gaya Shradh at the three principal sites is ₹5,100 per family, with samagri and dakshina included. Longer rites across the 45 vedis, the hotel and car arrangement, and the specific rites have their own prices on this page. You receive the full total in writing before you book.

Are these prices per person or per family?

The published ritual prices are per family. Each room package includes one room for two people for one night, with breakfast. Tell us the number of travellers so any additional accommodation or transport can be quoted before you confirm.

What if I do not know which rite to choose?

Message Vayu on WhatsApp and describe who the rite is for, your family tradition and any ceremonies already performed. The Pandaji advises on the suitable vidhi before a booking is made.

Does every package include a hotel and car?

No. The puja-only packages include the rite, samagri and dakshina. Standard is ₹8,500 in total for the three-site puja and an AC room. Standard with car is ₹12,000 in total, adding a car for pickup and drop. Premium is ₹31,000 in total, with a 4–5-star hotel and premium car.

Does the hotel/car arrangement change the ritual?

All three family options include Pind Daan at Falgu, Vishnupad and Akshay Vat. Standard includes an AC room; Standard with car adds pickup and drop. Premium also includes premium samagri, hand towels and advance puja arrangements at the vedis, with a 4–5-star hotel and premium car. Brahmin Bhojan is not included in any option and is quoted separately if requested.

How do I book Pind Daan in Gaya?

Message Vayu on WhatsApp or call with your travel dates, the number of people and who the rite is for. The Pandaji confirms the vidhi, we confirm the date, meeting point and full total in writing, and the booking is made once you agree.

What if we cancel?

Payments for the rite are fully refundable whenever you cancel, even on the morning of the puja. The car is refunded in full too. Hotel cancellation follows the hotel's own policy, which we tell you before booking.

Is the price fixed, or can it change in Gaya?

The price is fixed per family and written down before you book. Brahmin Bhojan is optional and quoted separately if requested. Any daan, updaan or personal gift is voluntary.

Where do we meet in Gaya?

Vayu Pind Daan is on Vishnupad Falgu Marg, next to the Vishnupad Temple and 10 metres from the Falgu ghat. We confirm the meeting point and time for your rite before booking.

Which languages do the pandits speak?

Our Gayawal pandits conduct the rite in Hindi and Sanskrit. Pandits from the Agniwar and Gurda families also speak with Bengali families in Bengali, and Tamil support is available.
