Ekodrishti Shraddha
A focused rite for one departed soul — the shraddha dedicated to a single named ancestor, guided and confirmed by a Gayawal Pandaji.
The debt we owe our ancestors
This rite is one way a family repays the Pitru Rin — the debt owed to those who gave us everything. Tell us your family's intention and we'll plan every step together, gently, on a call.
A rite aimed at one soul
Ekodrishti, or eka-uddishta, means 'aimed at one' — the shraddha dedicated to a single departed person. In tradition it is offered in the period after a death and on the death anniversary, helping the soul on its passage from the preta state toward joining the ancestors (pitru).
Dedicated to one ancestor
Unlike a general shraddha, Ekodrishti focuses the offerings and sankalp on one named departed person and their relation to the family.
Passage of the soul
It is connected with the soul's journey after death; the rite seeks gati and peace for that individual departed person.
Guided and confirmed
The Gayawal Pandaji confirms the suitable vidhi and whether it should be coordinated with the wider Gaya Shraddha. Vayu records the details and coordinates the practical arrangements.
